Halloween

The City requested people not go out for Halloween due to Covid-19. But thanks to the amazing staff where Aidan lives, he got dressed up anyway and they celebrated with an indoor party.

Aidan’s costume: Pink Haired Dracula!

So a couple of years ago, Aidan moved into a group home, with amazing staff. They really go above and beyond and that was highlighted during the Covid crisis. Aidan’s home is just downstairs from us and we still see him every day. He’s still being homeschooled (comes home every school day) and stays overnight on weekends. Its been a great arrangement. A bit tough during Covid but things are good again and I sure hope there won’t be another lockdown.

Its hard to believe but Aidan will be 17 in a couple of days! He’s had some physical setbacks over the last couple years (broken tibia, uncontrolled seizures and growth spurt). But he still has his infectious smile and a “can-do” attitude. He loves a challenge and he definitely loves to move.

Aidan’s documentary video has reached over 700,000 views on Youtube! The film has inspired parents & professionals from around the world to come to the Spiral Movement Centre to learn about our cutting edge somatic techniques and how Adapted Spiral Praxis can help children with special needs & disabilities.
